| Metrics, measurements, and migrations; how to effectively manage tech debt at scale | Software Practices | Isaac Udy | Tech debt is tricky. It's often hard to define, hard to measure, and can be hard to find time to work on. Tech debt is good at hiding in large projects and can be easy to forget about. Isaac is the Android Platform Lead for ANZ Plus, which has a team of over 70 engineers, and a codebase that's growing at over 150,000 lines of production code per-year. He has also spent a lot of time thinking about tech debt, and how it can be managed in such a large team.
